Town and temperature preferences
Your selected town and Fahrenheit/Celsius preference can be saved in your browser’s local storage. These preferences stay on your device. You can clear them using your browser’s site-data controls. We do not run advertising tracking scripts or analytics in this version.
Your location
Location access is optional and requested only when you press the location button. If you grant access, coordinates rounded to four decimal places are sent to this website and to the National Weather Service to retrieve a forecast. The application does not store your precise coordinates in a profile or database. Hosting infrastructure may retain request logs, including request URLs, IP addresses, and browser information. Choose a town from the forecast selector instead if you prefer not to share device location.
Maps and weather providers
Your browser requests map images from OpenStreetMap and radar imagery from NOAA. When you open a road camera, your browser also requests its snapshot from New England 511. Those providers receive network information such as your IP address and browser headers. Their services and any external links are governed by their own policies. Relevant notices include NWS privacy, and OpenStreetMap privacy.
Sponsorship inquiries
When a business contact email is available, selecting the inquiry link opens your own email application. No inquiry is sent until you send it. This version has no newsletter enrollment, payment form, or account registration.
Hosting and future changes
The hosting provider may process operational logs and, for a private preview, sign-in information. This notice should be updated before any advertising network, analytics, mailing list, or additional data collection is enabled.
